Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Before entering college, Misa was very shy and quiet. She wasn't able to show up as herself since she was with the same group of students in elementary school. Misa also went through being bullied in her school years.
The “AHA” Moment
Misa is an overnight success 20 years in the making. She started building businesses since she was 18 years old. Misa always felt like she was the only Asian in the room which made her feel lonely. Her loneliness stemmed her to create The Authentic Asian because she really wanted an all Asian women community space. Misa wanted to create a safe space as well since she also went through toxic mindset in other communities that she was part of.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Misa has been able to create a 6-figure business with The Authentic Asian and has over 250 members in the community. She loves what she does and continues to elevate the voices of Asian women.
